Responsibilities
  • Organizes and manages claim documentation from date of injury through closure.
  • Completes daily claim reviews on active claims.
  • Addresses and responds to claim alerts and makes inquires on behalf of the client.
  • Successfully communicates and builds relationships with Spectrum staff, producers, and various claim adjusters who serve the client.
  • Coordinates with the Spectrum Risk Manager and Account Analyst on client development goals, injury trends, and experience mod reconciliations.

Requirements

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements

 Bachelors degree and a minimum of (2) years of experience with work comp claims, work comp insurance sales, or commercial underwriting experience. Associate in claims designation and risk management background preferred.

Spectrum Insurance Group is searching for a Customer Service Representative for the front desk in our Oshkosh office. The Customer Service Representative will have personal and/or commercial lines experience.

In this role, you will work with the account manager, prepare proposals, answer incoming phone calls, greet and direct insurance office visitors, enter change requests and endorsements, and maintain our agency management system with current information.

Qualified candidates will hold their Property & Casualty License and have a minimum of 1-3 years of personal or commercial lines experience.

Responsibilities

Production Support

  • Completes applications in coordination with Agent, Account Executive or Account Manager(s) and submits applications to eligible and appropriate carriers
  • Prepares proposals and renewal summaries
  • Maintains agency management system with up-to-date and accurate data
  • Administers processing and suspense of new business, renewals, cancellations, and endorsement requests
  • Prepares certificates, binders, surety bonds and general correspondence
  • Completes MVR requests and trucking certificates according to scheduled rotation
  • Administers change requests and endorsements
  • Completes applications in coordination with Agent, Account Manager/Executive
  • Answers incoming phone calls, greets and assists agency visitors
  • Acts as primary and/or secondary back-up to front desk receptionist, if applicable

Administrative

  • Organizes tasks and resources to complete work and meet deadlines according to established procedures
  • Makes decisions on a variety of tasks frequently requiring discretion, judgment and initiative guided by general procedures or standards
  • Responds to incoming phone calls and emails promptly and effectively
  • Performs basic office functions including emailing, filing, scanning, copying, and faxing

Customer Service

  • Delivers exceptional customer service according to Spectrums Customer Service Standards with a goal of exceeding customer expectations with every interaction
  • Promotes a customer-focused environment by providing friendly, courteous, and helpful service to internal and external customers
  • Answers customer questions and resolves complaints in a timely and efficient manner
  • Supports a team-oriented environment by interacting in a professional, collaborative, and respectful manner with all employees, clients, customers and/or vendors
Requirements

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent required. Associates or Bachelors degree preferred. Work experience required to perform this job satisfactorily is typically acquired through a minimum of one-year insurance industry experience in personal and/or commercial lines.

  • Current licensure or ability to obtain a Property & Casualty Resident Intermediary granted by the State of Wisconsin
