Spectrum Insurance was established in 2007 by Darrel Zaleski. Since its founding, our agency has expanded its services, offering a broad range of personal and business insurance coverages through its 24 office locations throughout the United States and Minnesota.
Through continuous dedication, quality coverage, and service, our agency has formulated into one of the largest and most successful agencies throughout the United States. Founded on a simple philosophy of hard work, loyalty, and aggressive representation, we continue that oath today.

Our History

1997
Our insurance agency was founded as the Bridgeview Agency, a franchise of The Murphy Insurance Group in Chippewa Falls, WI.

2007
Our insurance agency was purchased by Darrel Zaleski and renamed Spectrum Insurance Group. We became a full-service, independent insurance agency that offers business and personal insurance throughout the United States and Minnesota. We also created Spectrum Benefit Solutions to offer employee benefit and human resource consulting services.
The RJF Agencies – Small Business Division in Eau Claire was purchased, and we opened a second office in Eau Claire, WI. We hired the RJF employees to continue to service the accounts.

2008
We bought the Eau Claire branch of RJF Agencies – Private Client Group and gained the expertise to offer personal insurance.

2009
We acquired the BMW Insurance Agency. The former owner, Dan McNicoll, still acts as a consultant on his accounts.
Our Weston, WI Insurance Office was opened with six former Wausau Insurance employees.
Our Green Bay, WI Insurance Office was opened.

Our Tomah, WI and Madison, WI Insurance Offices were opened.

2016 “Diamond Achiever” for the state of Wisconsin by Frankenmuth Insurance. The award was presented to Spectrum Insurance Group of Eau Claire for attaining the highest overall percentage rating in profitability, growth, and policy retention.
